In just a few months, mask-wearing has become a new standard of life. Our nation has called on the public to do our best in keeping ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities safe. As kids and adults alike adjust to a new normal, GIR (which stands for Get It Right) has families covered!
Fast following the release of our standard silicone mask, we’re launching kids masks for ages 4-12. Keep your kiddos safe and #twinning with reusable masks that match yours and make them feel like heroes. These comfy, lightweight face shields have a secret power, too: they glow in the dark! Choose from five colors, all made of the same durable, platinum-grade silicone as their grownup counterparts. Each package includes five high-quality filters. Try it out at $15 per kit.
“After we launched our reusable masks in March, a number of folks reached out and asked how we could help protect their children. So we got right back to work,” says GIR Founder Samantha Rose.
A few things set GIR’s kids masks apart. As every parent knows, kids get things dirty quickly. That’s where our durable, platinum-grade silicone comes in handy. Our masks disinfect easily at home or on-the-go, in the washing machine or by hand.
Specifically with our little ones in mind, we designed this product to be cheerful and exciting—to overcome fear and nervousness during these unprecedented times. “The masks are bright in the day, glow in the dark, and make my own kids feel like superheroes,” says Rose. “And having a fit that’s tailored to smaller faces is so important for ensuring healthy, efficient filtration.”
The bright array of mask colors also serve as differentiators. Everyone can easily know whose is whose, and the masks can even be marked in ink for easy identification. This is especially helpful for any gatherings—as in schools, camps and sporting events.
We introduced our reusable masks in March, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The product continues to resonate with individuals, families, and businesses as a sustainable, easy-to-clean, low-price face covering. Unlike cloth masks, GIR masks can be sterilized in a variety of household or professional settings. Wash with bleach or soap in kitchen sinks, microwaves, and dishwashers—or simply wipe down with disinfectant on the go.
GIR masks and replacement filters are available on our website, GIR.co, where customers can order and donate masks to essential workers. In the weeks since the original mask has launched, we’ve produced over 100,000 masks for individuals and donations.
